Our projects
Our UK – based company, Albion Power Capital LTD, is actively investing in projects aimed at addressing environmental issues and promoting sustainable development. We take pride in owning two innovative investment projects that contribute to resource recycling and recovery, as well as help tackle the challenges posed by climate change.
The first project is a mini oil refinery for processing fuel oil into Euro 4 fuel, in which we with our Ukrainian partner have invested 15 million dollars. This project not only promotes the efficient use of hydrocarbon resources but also reduces carbon dioxide emissions, aligning with our goals to minimize environmental impact. We understand that transitioning to cleaner energy sources is a necessary step in the fight against global warming, and our mini oil refinery plays an important role in this process.
The second project is a mini oil refinery for converting plastic waste into Euro 4 fuel, in which we with our Ukrainian partner have jointly invested 10 million dollars. Utilizing modern catalytic depolymerization technology, our RIG-UNIVERSAL project effectively processes plastic waste, reducing its accumulation in landfills and preventing environmental pollution. In Spain, for example, nearly two-thirds of the plastic produced is not recycled, leading to the accumulation of vast amounts of waste in landfills. The RIG-UNIVERSAL unit can process between 12,000 and 16,000 tons of plastic waste per year, significantly decreasing the amount of waste that ends up in landfills and reducing air, soil, and water pollution.
Furthermore, we recognize that effective waste management is a crucial aspect of achieving sustainable development goals. We believe that integrating waste management practices into health, education, and tourism can significantly improve the situation. Our RIG-UNIVERSAL unit not only reduces CO2 emissions but also produces valuable raw materials that can be utilized in various industries, including the chemical sector.
